FUNKY MONDAY | #3 Da「Work!」playlist

Smile, it’s Monday. Again…

° If you are in the working life, like me, you were as happy as Pharrel Williams last Wednesday, at the thought of starting a new week-end.

° If you are in the working life, like me, you spent 70% of your time like a corpse on your sleeper sofa.

° If you are in the working life, like me, you spent 29% of your time geeking on the web, in a boy pants-tank top combo.

Al bundy

I wonder how Al Bundy would look like during this Instagram and Tweeter era…

° If you are in the working life, like me, you spent the last 1% to do the bare minimum for survival: drink, eat and logically, pee and poo.

° If you are in the working life, like me, you regret having spoiled these precious days of your existence …

Oh, wait… I’m being told through my ear monitor that the working population is not as such. This is rather the no-life. population.

Anyway!! It’s monday’ and you’re grumpy at the idea of resuming a whole week of work. Let’s make things smoother then, and start with music!

CHERRY BROWN – Work! Work! Work!

“Work Work Work!” by the artist Cherry Brown (aka Sugar Kane aka Yuyuu Aensland), tells the joys and woes of a young worker : bitching sessions around the coffee machine, never ending meetings, desires of throwing ink toners at your manager’s face, working like crazy for almost no rewards, struggling to make ends meet…

Or so I thought it was said… when I had 10 mere words in my japanese vocabulary database.

I guess I was projecting my own life in that song and seeking compassion, like “oh, you too??!”. In reality, “Work Work Work” is about enyoying your coins when the 10th of the month comes  🙂

DJ BAMBOOGRASS FEAT MC SUN – 働くボーイ

“Hataraku boy”, which means, the boy who works. Check it out.

This one is cute. Goody two shoes cute. Shonen manga cute. You know, with a lot of good values such as working hard every day, working to fulfill your dreams, enduring the reality even if it’s not always easy and persevering.

On this bright note, have a nice monday!
